Double Scoops

Only 2 days of school left !

Need a fun way to teach or review those all important double facts 1-10.  Well, I created a fun packet—  Double Scoops to help with this.  The packet contains a learning center with data recording sheet, a double fact scoops flip book,  student data chart and, 2 doubles timed tests.  Each test has 50 problems.

This would be great to send home for summer review or tuck it away for review next year.  I know my own daughter needs help with these facts.  You can purchase this  unit HERE at my TPT store for only$ 2.00 .

Batter Up!

Batter Up!

Yay, it’s officially Spring!

The hubby and I were just scheduling a date to go watch the Iowa Cubs play. I can’t think of a better way to spend a warm spring day.

So in honor of my Spring Fever and the opening of the baseball season-  I created a new game.  It’s called “Batter Up!”.  This first set, contains addition and subtraction math facts for numbers 1-10.  This is perfect for Kindergarten and First graders, as well as, great review for 2nd graders.

This activity is available at my TPT store for only 2.00 $

So, Let’s Play Ball!!

Time for Some Ice Cream Fun

Spring is here!

Well, it’s a few days away but here in Iowa it feels like Spring.  My kids get so excited because Spring is when the ice cream shop re-opens.  So to celebrate this, I created a time center with an ice cream theme.

You can purchase this activity at my TPT store for $2.00. $

Here are 2 small anchor charts to help my kiddos grasp this concept.  If you’d like a copy just click on the picture

Silent 'e' Ninja Training

My kiddos love The Electric Company song-  “Silent E is a Ninja”.  If you haven’t heard it, here is a link to the video.

** Warning-  This song is very catchy. You might find yourself singing this at the grocery store or while pumping gas.

(I’m not saying I’ve done this.  Okay, yes I have.)

To help my kiddos master this concept, I created a Silent E Ninja Game.  It's been a huge hit!!
You can purchase this activity at my TPT store.

I love Spring!!!!!

Candy Counting Cards

Wow, its been a LONG time since I've blogged. (I'm so embarrassed.) In my defense I just finished up 8 weeks in 5th grade.  It was an amazing experience and I liked the challenges it brought.  I wasn't sure that I'd like working with older students but they were incredible.  It was hard to say good-bye but I'm ready for my next adventure.   Next stop-  Kindergarten (Yay)!!

The weather here in Iowa has been fantastic.  Today is a perfect fall day.  When I think of fall the first thing that comes to mind is food.  Fall means caramel apples, apple crisp, pumpkin bars and of course candy.  My oldest loves plain chocolate.  However, my youngest daughter loves candy corn.  So, with Maddie in mind here are some candy corn number cards.   For more candy corn goodies head over to the Inspired Apple and check out Abby's Candy Corn Bandit--- so cute!!
